Privacy policy
This policy explains what Marquee collects when you browse, sign in, buy a ticket, join a circle, or apply as a partner.
Updated 9 September 2026
What we collect
Account details: name, email, password (stored hashed), city, and the photo you add to your profile. Tickets: the event, type, quantity, and payment reference from Stripe, PayPal, or Razorpay. We do not store full card numbers on Marquee.
Hosts and partners also send business papers, a phone number, and brand details so we can list them. Circles may hold posts, photos, and the places a circle pins.
Why we use it
To run your account, issue tickets, pay hosts, show you nights and people, send notifications you asked for, and keep the house safe — fraud, abuse, and chargebacks.
Who else sees it
Payment providers process the charge. Hosts see the guest name on a ticket they must scan. Circle members see what you post in that circle. Partner threads are visible to the host and the brand on that deal — not to the public.
Cookies and the device
We use a session cookie (or an equivalent token) so you stay signed in, plus a theme preference in local storage. We do not sell advertising profiles.
Your choices
You can edit your profile, leave a circle, and ask us to close an account. For a copy of what we hold, or a deletion request, write to hello@trymarquee.co. See also the data policy.
